The Maine Coon is the largest of the domestic cats. The average weight of a male is 8-12 kg, females – 4.5-7.5 kg. The length of an adult individual can reach a meter, height at the withers – up to 33 cm. Newborn kittens also weigh quite enough – 125-170 g.
